Learning the Language

KOSHKA ... As in our dear departed Koshka, Muffin.

I’ll work on pictures tomorrow WITH PEOPLE IN THEM. Here are the words I’m working on:

Lestnitsa – Ladder
Kluch – Wrench or key
Molotoke – Hammer (hard on the toke)
Koshka – Cat
Pivo – (Peevo) - Beer
Sobaka – Dog
Vada – Water
List – Paper
Love you. People sneezing and coughing around me it’s time to go.
Nanook

Note: Nanook called last night at about midnight. I was sleeping, but I’m sure we talked about a lot of things. One thing I DO remember (cause it’s something that I can worry about), is that the bad (coughing-up blood) flu is going around the camp again. Put a babushka over your mouth, Nanook, and don’t breathe in those germs.
