Buffett Concert or Easy E-Bay Sale???
OUR FIRST CONCERT YEARS AGO...
(what's up with those white tennis shoes?)
Oh yeah - we snagged 6 tickets today (the max per person) and this year - no lawn seats for us!!! (Some of us Pirates are Looking at 50 now, you know!)
After our flamingo was stolen, these brave young men (pictured above) hunted it down and found it was being used as a flabongo. (A/K/A beer-bong...?) They matched it's DNA to his steel legs, which were still imbedded in our parking space and got the thieves to "fess up". Brought it back like true bounty hunters!
CAN YOU SAY "FLABONGO"...?

Tile, grout and a little paint...
We are surely not slackers at home! Even missed our weekly lunch with mom and dad today in order to create our own sorry deception that we were getting AHEAD (ha-ha!) on the lower level. Done by Easter? Nope. Sorry. The wet bar and cabinetry is still in the design stages and that must be done before we get the flooring in. (So Easter dinner will once again be upstairs - a rather tight pinch, but if Santa could do it then so could the Grinch)
Terry carefully measured and sawed the tile, (he allowed me to hand him each piece, of course) and artfully placed tile where it belonged. I also got to hand him those little rubber star thingy's that keep them the proper distance apart from each other. He really did a good job.
In the meantime - color is put on the walls in the sunroom. Yes. Color! Scary for us, but we think it will be okay. I asked Terry if I should get about 4-5 gallons for the room. He laughed! ONE GALLON is enough, he told me!!! Oops - no sense of paint coverage, I guess. So I bought 2 gallons. He was right. We finished 1 gallon and have one left. It will probably be up for sale if we have a rummage sale this summer. Pretty buttery yellow - anyone need some?
The grout was done today, the kids came for dinner and all is well. Can't ask for much more in life can we?
Oh wait....how about a little snowfall on the wreath we finally took down. Good coverage for the pallets waiting for the next bonfire this year!!!
